When book awards come out readers have a chance to see which writers are gaining the attention of book critics. Louise Erdrich is one of my favorite writers, and I’m glad to see her book get this recognition. Though I haven’t yet read the nonfiction books on the list, I’m glad to know about them and am eager to get acquainted with some issue-based reading.
